The Amundi Pioneer US High Yield Strategy seeks to maximize total return by investing at least 65% of its assets in below-investment-grade debt securities and preferred securities. It seeks to invest in industries with the best valuations and growth prospects. The Strategy uses a research-intensive credit and issue selection process by an experienced Fixed Income team.

The US High Yield Strategy uses a value approach for qualifying capital markets. The Investment Management team evaluates its security potential, including the attractiveness of its market valuation, based on the company's assets and growth prospects, maturity, rating and sector weighting. We consider the rates of economic growth and inflation, the Federal Reserve monetary policy and the relative value of the US dollar. We adjust sector weighting to reflect our outlook on the market for high yield securities rather than a fixed sector allocation.
